Trivia Quote — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Trivia Quote mobile app collects, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

• Account email address. When you create an account or sign in, we store your email address to authenticate you and keep your progress tied to your account.
• Gameplay data. Your answers, scores, streaks, and the server-measured time you take to answer, so we can score games and show your progress and (in future) leaderboards.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or device identifiers for advertising, and the app currently shows no ads.

How we use it

• To provide the daily word game and weekly quiz, and to compute scores and streaks.
• To keep you signed in and restore your progress across sessions and devices.

How it is stored and processed

Account and gameplay data are stored using Supabase (our hosted backend: authentication and a Postgres database). Access is restricted by row-level security so you can read only your own data. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except our hosting provider (Supabase) as needed to run the service.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and gameplay data while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at the address below, and we will remove it.

Children

Trivia Quote is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
